6. Show close ups of any chips, cracks, repairs or other defects found.

Description notes:

  • Mention if there are any chips, cracks, repairs or other defects found.
  • What material is the sculpture/state made of? (wood, stone, metal, plaster, etc.) Click HERE to view material identification guide.
  • Is it one solid piece or multiple pieces? Is the sculpture resting on a base that is included?
  • Will the customer need to bring help to remove the sculpture? Or will there be help available for them?
  • Make a note if it is an extremely large statue that will require a professional mover to remove. If professional movers are required, make a note about alternate an alternative pickup day if needed/possible.
  • If you have any moving/rigging companies you recommend, list their contact info.

Pickup day tips:

Remind customer to bring help and proper materials (moving blankets, handtruck, etc.) if needed.

If it is a large outdoor statue, consider using a garden wagon that can roll across outdoor terrain.
