Auction Manager Contractor

We provides estate liquidation services through online auctions and the demand for our services is growing everyday. We are expanding and need contractors to manage territories in CT, MA, NY (including territories throughout Long Island, Westchester, & NYC), NJ and beyond!

We're looking for full time and part time independent contractors for the following positions:

Auction Manager:

  • Evaluate and determine items to be sold
  • Oversee photography and descriptions of items
  • Research and describe items for sale
  • Communicate with clients and customers

Auction Photographer:

  • Stage items and take photos with iPhone or Camera
  • Edit photos with software such as Photoshop
  • Upload photos of items to be sold

Inventory Manager:

  • Inspect and organize auction inventory
  • Label inventory for an organized sale process
  • Research and describe items for sale

Pick Up Day Technicians:

  • Pack small items and label orders for pick up
  • Disassemble, wrap, move and handle large items for pick up
  • Distribute items to customers and assist with pick up process

Office/Warehouse Manager:

  • Organize warehouse inventory
  • File paperwork, edit listings and schedule appointments
  • Manage auction shipping and item storage

  • Free training to improve photography skills, research skills, and communication skills
  • Receive commissions for all auctions after completing the training process

Autonomy

  • Flexibility to schedule sales as convenient for you and your clients
  • We will provide referrals in your territory, but you can seek out your own estates as actively as you want

Accounting support

  • We manage all billing, auto debit customer payments, issue payments to clients, handle shipping and delivery billing, website and marketing costs
  • We cover membership fees needed to operate advertising websites and research databases

Marketing support

  • Access to list your sales on major advertising sites as well as email and social media marketing
  • We supply you with business cards, apparel and lawn signage for your auctions

Requirements Include:

  • Clean Criminal Background!
  • 1099 / Independent Contractor / Self-Employment status
  • Valid Driver's License or Proof of ID
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Reliable Transportation (Must be able to drive within a 2 hour radius of your home if needed)
  • Smart phone and laptop or computer. Camera and iPad also useful.
